Berkeley Vale Private Hospital is an 80 bed surgical, medical and rehabilitation facility located in the Wyong Shire on the Central Coast of New South Wales, 70 kilometers north of Sydney. The hospital is located adjacent to an extensive retirement and nursing home complex. In response to this population profile Berkeley Vale Private has developed a rehabilitation facility to complement its surgical and medical facilities.

Rehabilitation Services:

The hospital has a Specialist Director in Rehabilitation Medicine to manage the care and treatment of rehabilitation patients.

Rehabilitation is a specialist area of medicine, which aims to assist patients to regain their functioning and independence after injury or illness.

The hospital has an experienced team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, nurses, Dietician, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist and Social Workers who are involved in a patient’s treatment as needed. Specialists are also consulted as required.

Our rehabilitation team is expert in managing:

Our rehabilitation team have also developed intensive day only rehabilitation programs which facilitate early discharge from hospital, or in some cases provide a welcome alternative to inpatient hospital care
